I first enrolled in college in 1990 at the Omsk State Technological Institute for an Economics Faculty, 5 years later graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Audit. I began working at the SBS Bank from 1996 to 2000, first starting as a teller then moving up to a business accounts manager position.I came to America in December of the year 2000 and first took H&R Block tax preparation classes in 2003. After my daughter was born in the mid 2000s, I continued to self educate, as the accounting lessons in Russia were very different from those in America. Continuing to study online, I joined the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and became certified as a professional bookkeeper.
I’ve worked as a tax preparer for Liberty Tax in Jacksonville, FL in 2007 and in Louisa, VA for 3 tax seasons 2014-2016. Also I’ve worked for H&R Block in Philadelphia, PA in 2009. I also worked few months for Christina Monfalcone, CPA in Charlottesville, VA. I later passed the Federal Income Tax and Advanced Federal Tax courses at the National Tax Training School.I passed 3 part comprehensive exam with the IRS and received the Enrolled Agent license.
